Karla is an Art Director and painter whose work celebrates nature, everyday rituals, and the quiet poetry of daily life. Through playful characters, florals, and bold color, her paintings transform small observations into vibrant visual stories.

Trained in graphic design, Karla’s creative practice moves fluidly between illustration and painting, guided by curiosity and a deep love for color and composition. Moments gathered from daily life—flowers from the market, long walks outdoors, and the subtle rhythms of nature—often become the starting point for her work.

After several years in Mexico City collaborating on illustration projects and group exhibitions, she moved to Cholula, where a slower pace allowed her painting practice to grow more fully. Today she continues to explore painting while contributing to the local creative community and organizing gatherings that bring artists together.

One of these initiatives, Picnic & Draw, invites artists and creatives to meet outdoors to share ideas, draw, and connect through a relaxed creative environment.
